The AWWs have been developed by Eloisa Martin since 2010 and sponsored by ISA since 2015. The project seeks to establish it as an ISA activity where all editors and members of EC willing to develop this activities could be supported. Short workshops and meet the editors activities have been included in ISA conferences and fori since 2010, and are officially in the programmes since 2014, so this is part of an ongoing effort that should be improved. AWWs were considered an important contribution to the global sociology by attendants and organizers in every country they were developed. We are looking forward to joint efforts between Pub. Cttee and National Associations Cttee in order to make this possible. Workshops will be designed taking into account the targeted audience: PhD students, junior sociologist and/ or senior scholars not used to publish in international journals. As in previos ocassions, duration, contents and methodology will be coordinated with the host university. Basically, it will be presented an overview of scholarly communication, so as to guide authors to create viable and potentially successful for writing and publishing their researches. Current models of academic publications will be discussed under the light of the local conditions and national academic traditions, so that each author can develop their skills accordingly http://https://www.isa-sociology.org/en/publications/isa-digital-worlds/videos/academic-writing; Equipe: Eloísa Martín, UFRJ (coordenadora); Integrantes: Karim Murji (University of West London, Grã Bretanha), Sarah Neal (University of Sheffield, Grã Bretanha); Marta Soler (Universidad de Barcelona, Espanha); Gisela Redondo (Universdad Deusto, Espanha); Chaime Marcuello (Universidad de Zaragoza, Espana), Jupeng Li (Central China Normal University, China); Brigitte Aulenbacher (Johannes Kepler Universität, Austria), Kelvin Low (National University of Singapore, Cingapura).
