Professor in the Department of Sociology at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (DS/IFCS/UFRJ). She holds a bachelor’s degree in Language and Literature from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) (2012), a bachelor’s degree in Law from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Unirio) (2014), a master’s degree (2017), and a Ph.D. (2022) in Sociology and Law from the Graduate Program in Sociology and Law at the Federal University of Fluminense (CAPES fellow), with a sandwich doctoral fellowship at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, Paris, France (CAPES - PDSE 2021-2022). She has been a substitute professor in the Department of Public Security at the Federal University of Fluminense (DSP/UFF) and a FAPERJ postdoctoral fellow (grade 10) in the Graduate Program in Sociology and Law at UFF (PPGSD/UFF), as well as a CAPES postdoctoral fellow in the Graduate Program in Justice and Security (PPGJS/UFF). She is a member of the PsicoCult research group (Research Center on Psychoactive Substances and Culture), the Latin American Observatory on Criminal Justice for Adolescents (OLAJUSPA), and a researcher affiliated with INCT/InEAC/UFF. Additionally, she is a member of the Brazilian Society of Sociology and editor of the journal Dilemas Reflexões.
