This research analyzes the filmmaking and ethnographic work shared in the «Prédio Argentina» displaced persons association in the municipality of Cairo, Valle del Cauca, Colombia. The research investigates my relationship since graduation with the Sanchez brothers Javier and Andrés. They invited me to participate in the documentary «Recampesinização» (2018). Over time, this relationship becomes an object of study to understand the process of returning to the field and its representation in images. Also in this work we think about the ethnographic documentary «Doña Consuelo» (2023), which is part of a series of works that use image as a strategy for the production, dissemination and circulation of individual and collective experiences. Therefore, the research thinks and mobilizes reflections on ethnographic film, the struggle for land and shared anthropology. Thus, the research reflects on reversing the perspective so that people themselves can be heard, tell their story, their way of thinking, fighting and being in the world.
