She is a professor in the Department of Cultural Anthropology at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and the Audiovisual Universes Recognition Group (Grua) coordinator at UFRJ. She holds a master’s degree in social Anthropology from the National Museum of UFRJ (2003) and was a professor in the Department of Social Sciences at PUC-Rio (2004-2013). Its main questions concern images and visibility, anthropology of music and of sound.
