The convivialist movement was founded more than a decade ago to address the challenges that the modern political philosophies we have inherited—liberalism, socialism, communism, and anarchism—are no longer able to overcome. Convivialism is a new political philosophy that seeks to provide a coherent response to the most urgent problems of our time. This new manifesto updates the diagnosis of ecological, economic, ideological, anthropological, democratic, and geostrategic challenges. It was written in the hope that it might serve as a basis for discussion and as a possible starting point for debates among social movements from the North, South, East, and West, toward the drafting of a solemn Declaration of General Interdependence.
