E-mail: [email protected] Lattes CV : lattes.cnpq.br/2964979009631467 Letícia Ferreira received both her master degree and her doctorate in Social Anthropology from Museu Nacional (PPGAS / UFRJ). Professor at the Department of Cultural Anthropology (DAC) and the Graduate Program in Sociology and Anthropology (PPGSA) at IFCS / UFRJ and coordinator of the research centre documenta - Laboratory of Anthropology of the State, Regulation and Public Policy Laboratory (IFCS / UFRJ). She is a member of the Brazilian Association of Anthropology (ABA) and the Working Group on Anthropology of the State and the Institutions of the Asociación Latinoamericana de Antropología (ALA). Main areas of interest: anthropology of the State, anthropology of politics and anthropology of moralities. Main topics of research: documents and bureaucracy; public problems; social suffering; activism of the victims. She is also interested in the methodological specificities of ethnographic research carried out in contexts in which writing and documents are central technologies and artifacts, such as archives, public offices and institutions.
